Browns changed the course of retail and fashion history forever when it opened in 1970 in the heart of London’s Mayfair, quickly becoming globally-recognised as the UK’s first multi-brand luxury boutique. It was the vision of long serving former owners Joan and Sidney Burnstien who were passionate about championing young and emerging designers that made Browns iconic. Tastemakers in fashion and style, courtesy of its unique point of view on fashion the Browns legacy continues to be carefully preserved today where disruption of luxury retail and championing of emerging talent remain at the forefront.
