At Browns we celebrate diversity and enable every person to thrive. We believe in representation at every level of our organisation and are committed to allyship by reducing any biases through education and unlearning, through action and accountability and through empowerment and support. We’ve threaded Conscious Inclusion into our business objectives as its our mission to be the most conscious and connected luxury experience in the world and this means that every single Browns employee is responsible for making progress within our organisation and within society.
Our values underpin everything we do, and we place huge importance on being authentic and living and breathing our values. Community and authenticity are key, and this is how we approach our customers, the industry and our employees. When considering if you would like to join the team at Browns, it’s important to consider your own values system and your own purpose in the work that you do. We believe that as humans we are the happiest and most productive when there is strong alignment between our personal values and purpose with that of the company.
We are bound to our Be Human, Be Brilliant, All Together, Be Revolutionary, Think Global and Amaze Customers values. Simply put: what you do is just as important as how you do it. With an entrepreneurial spirit and an innovative culture every person is here to make a difference.
The most perennial trend of them all: kindness. Our #cooltobekind mantra is deeply rooted in everything we do. It’s about choosing to be kind to yourselves and those around you, having meaningful conversations and connections not only in business but all over your world. Taking care of yourself and others permeates the work we do at Browns and as people; from our endeavours to Be Conscious, Be Inclusive and always aim to be aspirational, we want to spread positivity and with purpose.
Our FARFETCH People Communities

Race on the Agenda (ROTA)
At Browns, we are on a mission to create change that will achieve greater diversity and representation across all levels of our business. We have made a commitment to our people, our customers and our community to take action, make changes and above all, be human. The foundation of a safe space to empower and represent our Black and POC employees at Browns became our priority, leading to the formation of our people community R.O.T.A which stands for Race On The Agenda.
Established in 2020, R.O.T.A is driving progression within Browns, creating a way for people to connect, collaborate and celebrate all communities, cultures and ethnic backgrounds. R.O.T.A have established a mentorship programme, influenced a new and inclusive learning format company-wide and looked externally to support Black and POC communities through resourcing and donations.
We are proud to be partnering with the following organisations alongside FARFETCH Group: Aspiring Solicitors, The Board Challenge, Black in Fashion Council, Black Solicitors Network, Black Young Professionals, Central St Martins, Color in Tech, Fashion Minority Alliance, Fashion Minority Report, Nataal and She Can Code. We also continue to support the following organisations such as The Black Curriculum, Black Lives Matter Foundation, Black Minds Matter, The Center for Cultural Power, Fashion Scholarship Fund, George Floyd Memorial Fund, Justice for Breonna, Run with Maud, NAACP Legal Defense Fund and Equal Justice Initiative, The Ubele Initiative, UK Black Pride and AAPI Community Fund.
We won’t stop here as we continue to set clear goals and objectives for the future to become a conscious, inclusive and diverse company. This is just the beginning.
