Browns Internship: Meet Siobhan

Today we celebrate the internal development of Siobhan Ryan, who has transitioned from our Retail team to our Brand Engagement Team after taking part in our 12-week head office internship programme.

Tell us about your career journey at Browns?

I started as a Community Ambassador at Browns East in 2018. I've been afforded the opportunity to work on lots of projects like our Conscious initiative, our In Store App and Farfetch Fashion Concierge. Last year I completed an internship in the Brand Engagement team!

What was the highlight of your internship?

The opportunity to be directly involved in the Browns 50th anniversary campaign! Working on set during the main campaign shoot and seeing first-hand how all of our meticulous planning materialises into content. Seeing my casting suggestions and my input translate in real life was incredible.

What was your biggest learning of your internship?

My biggest learning was how the Brand Community team interacts with other departments to plan and execute on projects. I spent a lot of time researching and selecting talent for projects, and formulating ideas. It gave me the skills to use new tools and databases, to deliver presentations, to collect feedback on my ideas and to express creative ideas.

Congrats Siobhan! Keep thriving!
